Somewhere between the time products were shown on television
in a way that demonstrated how cool they were and when they were portrayed as
something a person needed in order to be cool is when I
became severely disillusioned by the natural order of things. Stuff that made
me happy I could understand. Stuff I had to associate myself with in order to
be accepted I couldn’t quite grasp. From then on, art became a refuge to
explore the depths of my imagination and the complex role individuality plays
in connecting the human race.
